June 23-27, 2025 - 9:00-5:00 - South American Journey

Campers this week will learn how to write and illustrate their very own book including artwork and writing with a South American theme, cover to cover!

Laura Harris and Kathryn Rubish, both cherished local elementary school teachers, will guide kids through engaging writing lessons to help campers get their ideas on paper. They will also incorporate themed activities and games.  Miss Kim, ArtzHub’s Artist and Founder, will guide kids through each day’s illustration and incorporate a few fun crafts to round out the book making experience. Green Thumb Garden Gurus

 
 

July 7-11, 2025 - 9:00-1:00 - Gardening Camp

This camp is for children that enjoy gardening. Those that want to cultivate their love and appreciation of the natural world will find this hands-on experience blooming with fun opportunities for earthy kids to plant and to nurture existing vegetable and flower plants in the McDougle Elementary courtyard. Campers will also enjoy a sense of exploration as they learn about the vast ecosystem that can exist in a small garden. Nature related arts and crafts activities will round out each day. All ArtzHub art camps provide kids with 5 days of learning how to draw with Miss Kim and making fun craft projects that follow the theme.

Painting Exploration 1

 
 

July 14-18, 2025 - 9:00-1:00 - Arctic Animal Portraits and Their Habitats

Ms. Evy’s campers will enjoy learning to paint with the guided expertise of a teacher that has decades of experience teaching children how to paint and draw. Over the course of the week, children will sketch out and paint their masterpiece on watercolor paper, canvas boards and stretched canvas and with mixed media materials. We'll use vibrant watercolors, acrylic colors and visuals to paint Arctic Animal Portraits in their natural Habitats for a total of five paintings by the week's end. Fun crafts and group games will round out their afternoons. Each day is divided into kid-friendly segments that fold in plenty of time on the playground, too.

July 28-August 1 - 9:00-1:00 - Baby Farm Animals, Still-Life and Landscapes 

Ms. Evy’s campers will enjoy learning to paint with the guided expertise of a teacher that has decades of experience teaching children how to paint. Over the course of the week, children will sketch out and paint their masterpiece on watercolor paper, canvas boards and stretched canvas. We'll use vibrant, tropical watercolors, acrylic colors and visuals to paint portraits, tropical fruit, flowers, a landscape and a final free choice piece for a total of five paintings by the week's end. Fun crafts and group games will round out their afternoons. Each day is divided into kid-friendly segments that fold in plenty of time on the playground, too.

Kids are already naturally gifted creators. Then they get added inspiration from our specially trained instructors. They dive into our massive collections of LEGO® parts. And while they build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, they explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics. They also learn to collaborate and create without fear of mistakes. The experience is joyful, the impact long-lasting.
